Problem in Stealth gear box

Post by minimini »

I got several Stealth gear boxes myself..........I noticed 4 out of 5 have a small slit at the bottom side of the gear box ........which potentially will have dirt going in .........is it a defect or the factory "intentionally" making such a design ??.......

sorry for this stupid question........

the case molding is VERY thin there, so it doesn't suprise me that some might be damaged, either from what Johnny says, or someone snapping the case together and catching an edge and tearing it.

I meant Don!!!!! hahhahhah....brain is very slow today!!!

both of mine have holes.. but i'm not worried, they sit flat on the chassis plates, you don't need to worry about dirt getting in.
