HELLO This is Don I just read about our new RC 10 owner. Glad to here that one. and wellcome to the board. YOU have fun a very good board and I am still learning about the RC 10 gold pan.
I am the one that VW Juice is talking bout. YES I run a gold pan as well as RC 10 T truck
NOT Sure on whear you are but keep an eye on the RC tech board for there is a new dirt inside track is coming together( RC portland Racing) IT maybe up and running by November from what we all have heard at this point. If I Can get a Vintage class going I would try.
Most of those guys run the newer rigs THERE are some that still have the older Vintage rigs. and most of us that run RC 10 stay here.
I have tryed a few times to get a Vintage class going but like VW says we were allways kind of short. I HAD BEEN ABLE TO GET A COUPLE OF CLASS;s GOING AT A TRACK THAT IS NOW GONE AND WE ALLWAYS HAD A LOT OF FUN.
I did open up a few rules also I made sure we all ways had fun.
BUT If I can help ya on something and If I have the answer I would do what I can but LIKE I say I am still learning about the gold pan. .
I had usely run the RC 10 T truck s. I change over to the RC gold pan just this year and use to run them back in th day when you could pick up one new out of Portland Hobby shop.

Re: Memory Lane
HELLO This is Don first off thank you VW for the kind words, I maybe a little older but I try my best with my Vintage. MoMo also knows me. These are 2 of my vintage drivers. Wellcome aboard to our new RC 10 gold pan driver that is down in Bandon. That is a neat area. MY wife loves that wile life park on HY 101 . IT is called bandon wile life game park,
YUP we have tryed a couple of times to get Vintage class going at a track that went into the history books.;-(( AT TRACK we were able to get a couple of classes going . I change the rules so it made it a little easer for those that wanted to race Vintage we all had fun .
I just change over to RC 10 gold plan and like some of the others now learning about them. I just change one over to Oval and one to off road. I use to run the RC 10 T trucks and like VW says I was ok with it but decided to go the gold pan for a little while and have fun with it.
SO If can help in answering questions I am willing to try.
WEllcome to Oregon and you have found a good board. Like VW and MOMO keep an eye on the RC tech board under northwest racers. GOOD LUCK and have fun DON
