my old but modern runner build "the Purple People Eater"
alright guys an gals here is the start of my newest build.. my version of the old but new twist,
i like to call it ..... XXthe modern maniacXX "The Purple People Eater"
this would have been my Vnats rig but cash flow fell short.. getting from the west coast to the east coast was gunna put me in the red, so i didnt go..... but here is the rc10 i would have run.... all parts that are purple have been re anodized

-b stamp chassis
-truck shocks
-truck nose plate
-truck rear shock tower
-truck white front bulkead
-white dynotech arms front and rear
-rpm white truck rear bulkhead
-rpm words front shock tower
-rpm white inner arm mounts
-rpm white big bearing carriers
-rpm white truck trans
-rpm purple ball cups
-rpm purple spring perches
-rpm white gear cover
-rpm white truck front bumper
-rpm servo mounts
-factory team blue turn buckles
-factory team blue screws
-factory team blue shock caps
-factory team blue nose tubes
-worlds steering
-factory team b4 20deg castor blocks
-factory team b4 inline steering
-factory team b4 blue axles

Wow man,love the colour combos.I have never seen anything like it.Coolest looking RC10 I have ever seen.What tranny is that?

Ofcourse it is, the colour resembles a Schumacher. Schuey Cougar2 'WORKS' that is- LOL.Coolest looking RC10 I have ever seen.
But seriosly this car looks ACE!!! Nice job.

that transmission is a RPM truck conversion 2.61-1 ratio

What cvds are you planning on using? I see you didn't cut the rear of the tub for the wider arms, was thinking about doing the same with my car and using b4 cvds.

I am not sure if I should make a new thread but I will try it here. I am looking to get a few things anodized and was wondering what a ballpark job like that should cost and what preparation should be done by me or do they have the tools to smooth it.

Wow, Gregg--I think there is something in your childhood that is really longing for the color purple--you may want to see a shrink about that issue.
I vote that it be renamed "the Purple People Eater", and that you anno the shock caps purple too!!
