I will be modifying this post as I can, but it is a personal reference for Losi Tyres I thought I'd share. Add info if you wish and I'll mod this post. Pics of treads are most welcome if there are none available!

Will add info on generation of chassis that the tyres came out around.

Did Losi ever do a 2.2 step pin, I only recall seeing 2.0???

the X tra wide body was 7204 and not 7203
About 2.2 rear tyres you miss the Big Shot and the BK bar (the story of this tyres was so funny)

I have a question and figuard this would be the appropriate place. I have a set of Losi X pattern "cushion carcass" tires that I plan on mounting onto some rims. It seems to me with how low profile the tire is, I would not need to use foam inserts? What was recommended back in the day? Or were they not using inserts back then?

I don't think any of the 2.0 tires used inserts.

Most of the tires in the early days did not use foams. they came later when the tracks started to go hard pack and clay.
