Re: MIP 4-10 rumor #63, this time maybe it's real?
My old employer used to say "I don't care what they are saying about me as long as they are saying my name". I never really got that one. I care deeply about what people are saying about my name.

Re: MIP 4-10 rumor #63, this time maybe it's real?
Eustace actually spoke about it, not much except saying it won't be an exact recreation and he hopes to have one ready to race in March so we will see!

Re: When is an Associated a Traxxas?
There is no clear line there for sure. We have members that are purist, we have members that are Frankensteiners ( ) and everyone in between. We even have a guy that really likes Schumacher but we try not to judge. To the purists, the wrong screws can be a breaking point. I'm the kind of g...

Re: Fan RC FR-01
I just converted one myself, here is the way I recommend: remove the fan gearbox, put the diff in the front (its the correct width) source a modern rere stealth (the diff is narrower by just a tad, so you need the box and the diff) (you can use an old stealth also, but not the rere worlds or fanrc s...

Factory Works SRB X2 project
Machined delrin cases for SRB are finally here, and I had some bearing holders machined as well so I can offer the Tamiya version of the trailing arm kits. I'll have both on the website in a few days. To test the gearbox I made up some trailing arms for lay down shocks (as I lack any vintage roll ba...

Re: Factory Works SRB X2 project
Been working on a diff as well. Tamiya has a ball diff and im not a fan of their design TBH. There isnt a lot of room and another ball diff on the market seems silly, so I am working on a planetary diff instead. Considered a bevel diff but the gears would be much harder to have machined. Tried worki...

Re: Factory Works SRB X2 project
They are from crawlers, I reached out to the mfr and had a bunch made really short
they seem to work well eve with the flex of the MIP style arms, but modern racetracks probably won't be compatible. I'll have some slider universal sets for sale along with the cases and trailing arm sets soon.
