Re: Nitro Thrasher restoration
Well if it's any consolation, I'll be working on mine... Eventually.
I've been collecting a load of period correct hop-up items for it over the last few years.

Re: Kyosho Nitro Brute Restoration
Awesome posts! Is your rig really sloppy like mine (check out the video). I have so much play in my rear... I guess axles where the fit in the knuckle arms. I am not sure what I will need to replace to fix this. I suppose this might do the trick? https://www.shapeways.com/product/PD2PW2NFL/kyosho-bi...

Re: Tamiya Neo Fighter buggy DT03, Re-re Frog, and Top Force builds
Frog progress, nothing special but a simple fun build. MIP ball diff and blackfoot idler gear, universals, some crp parts, and a slightly less sloppy front suspension. More to follow.........

Thinking about dyno's for brushed motors
When I was a lad I never had the money to spend on a Dyno and probably never saw the need at my level but now I find myself curious about them , I guess I'm trying to work out how curious in relation to cost ! I have an inductive loop digital amp clamp and a simple laser rpm meter is only about £10 ...

The Yokomo Dogfighter got my vote!
The model is before i got into RC's and its a buggy which i was never into, but it is an awesome restoration.

Lol The Salute is also a very nice car and is awesomely restored...but what got me was the mechanics and layout of the Dogfighter. :D

Turbo Mid Score
I hope everyone is coping with the pandemic as best you can. I just picked this lot up, it cost me a good US$300, but I think it's worth it. Sold the Dynatech to a mate, so that took the cost down. Looks like a Proline or JG truck conversion and a Sassy chassis-might put some tires on it and run it ...
