Special build to my brother (coxbros1) and me. We raced against this actual car in the late 80s and always really liked it. and called the guy that owned it and the track back then in next town over. He still had it! We bought it immediately and did a complete resto. All original except body and servo mount. Also, we use this car to test all of our vintage motors. Current motor is

Pro-line Ambush 4x4. 1:25 scale crawler. Fashioned & painted after my 1:1, 1st generation (1966) International Harvester Scout 800. Although I lost the scale bumper mounted KC Daylighters. Top and windshield were scratch built from styrene. Body is molded Lexan. Chassis is steel ladder rails & leaf sprung. Excuse the dust and blemishes, I run this one fairly regularly. Cool & fun small-scale RC.

Here we have a Bolink (not RJ) Digger, nothing special. I picked it up on ebay because it had a Novak Rooster and a nice Fantom motor.
The body is a RJ reproduction of the 1/12 Bolink 69 Charger. The General Lee decals are from MCI, of which I only used a few of.
I still have the white letter Bolink tires stashed away, these here are BSR spec models.
The only real modification to the car is removal of the bent wire steering linkages, which required some RC4WD offset rod ends.
The electronics consists of a Futaba R142-JE receiver and S148 servo, Tekin Rebel esc (seemed appropriate), and a Kyosho Mega Outlaw stock.
If you care, you can click on the pics for better resolution.

Optima clone Great Vigor Beagle after a complete stripdown rebuild. No one likes the original body and the one on this was knackered so rather than a pretentious kyosho body might as well go for summat completely different.
Buggy special brown dot motor. 2.4 Rx and ESC , running condition.
Hi-tech quick release elastic band body mounts!

This project started off life as a parts car purchased off of the bay that was in pretty terrible shape when I took delivery. Did not expect this to lead me down the path of doing a take on Mark Pavidis’s car and a mistake during painting almost derailed it but pretty happy where it ended up.
