I had thought that all team cars were black. But looking closer, I can see that graphite car still had the gold motor plate and rear guard.

Re: Decisions...... T2 be made
We'll, what do you plan on doing with it? If it's going to sit on a shelf, the motor is fine. It is a 27T, 24° stock class motor. It was made for ROAR stock class racing. It is also one of the motors (several) listed in the parts list for a T2, so it is "correct" for it. The manual itself ...

Re: Resurrecting my goldpan
So, I put the tires and wheels together the correct way and they work great. I also ordered the Traxxas 7171 and J concepts mono wheels with the Duratrax Bandito tires. I just wish I could find some shorter black wires to connect the gyro. The orange, yellow and brown wires are killing me. I used t...

Re: electricity 101
Also noticed there's lots of Deans connectors haters out there, what's up with that? What's everyone running for battery connectors these days? IMHO, there is nothing wrong with a Deans connector. I think the problems that most people have link directly back to poor soldering skills. Then throw in ...

Re: Duplicolor Metalcast
The problem with painting aluminum is getting a good bond.
Be sure the metal is clean and use a quality etching primer, like Eastwood. And give the primer plenty of time to dry, otherwise the etching agents will attack the paint.

Old MIP stuff
This may already be here somewhere but I haven't stumbled across it.
I was looking for information on my MIP bellcranks and came across this:
http://www.toybaron.com/MIPreference.htm
I thought it was cool. Enjoy.

Re: Resto RC10 Graphite Team Car #6036
I like the Detonator Worlds body as well. I have them on two of my cars. I like how sleek and low slung it is.

Re: Is Vaterra gone for good?
IMHO, you probably need to stock up on spare parts for anything current while you can.
With the exception of Traxxas (Tamiya isn't too bad), it seems like everyone phases out cars and spare parts frequently.

Re: Winter Budget Beater RC10EGT
Don't be torn about what to do with it. It's a nice truck.
Just do like me. I just bought another one on Ebay today. Like I really needed another project.

And more ebay junk
I might have a problem. I seen this scrap pile on the bay for $100 or best offer. I made an offer and they took it. The transmission and shocks are probably worth more than I paid for all of it. What I got: Most of it looks like typically late 10T parts. C stamp, T2 arms, Worlds bulkhead, and black ...

Re: And more ebay junk
Got it all stripped apart, cleaned, and back together. - The chassis had actually been painted at some point. Luckily, they didn't know what they were doing, so the paint came off pretty easily with Citristrip. Several other parts also had orange over-spray on them, which also came off fairly easily...
