Yeah towerhobbies.com has quite a few parts in stock right now for the rc10.. just dye the parts black. I bought the missing items my gold tub needed and pretty darn cheap too! I think it would make a great economy 1st runner for the youngin' !

Update: Here's the pics I promised..... Everything is ordered for this now except for the rear tires.. As soon as they are in stock at Tower hobbies I will order them.. Do you or anyone happen to know what size the small idler gear hex size is?

oh and I had to take the dremel to the outdrives and the part that the outdrives rotate on to get the bearings to slide over. also I had to do the same on one of the front axles to get them on too.. you would think after having bushings they would have wore the parts down over time.. maybe this car ...

UPDATE! 8) :D Thank you integra! I got the c clips out, had to use two precision screwdrivers and held pressure inward, and got the wife to pry out with another precision flat tip and keep it from zinging across the house lol.. hard as crap but we got it! that top idler gear was hard as crap to pry ...

Ok guys, I need your expertise on getting the transmission apart to get the bearings. I did a search but couldn't find anything on the six gear trans.. These c clips are hard to get out.. I don't want to fubar them getting them out.. is there any guides, etc. on doing this. also the top idler gear. ...

Have my parts in a pyrex casserole dish with aluminum foil taped to the underside of the glass. I am using clear packing tape for covering the parts since I am out of cling wrap.. Baking in the sun now.. I can already see a difference.. Last night the parts got a few hours but the sun is blazing tod...

Just ordered the bearing kit off ebay $19 shipped! glad im going back with bearings.. will reassemble once I get the bearings.. will be getting some nose tubes off bay too.. who knows what else I may buy... need the bellcrank and front body mount too..

Do a third white one for neopolitan! Lol looking good! I say black with pink and white with brown chassis!

Update: Ive been working on the buggy quite a bit lately. Found some more issues with it. One of the bellcranks was glued. See pics and the pink stuff on the one bellcrank was where it was glued. It broke when I took the ball stud out while disassembling the chassis. Right now I've got the parts soa...
