RichieRich, I might not be the brightest guy in the world, and I certainly am not a financial genius, but future value is towards the bottom of my list of worries about fake parts. You'd have to be a real moron to invest your money in to toy cars in hopes of increasing your portfolio. Just to clari...

Re: Fake parts
If fake parts are okay with you, why do you collect vintage cars? Discuss. In this instance, I believe you are referring to collecting for perceived future value. I'm not in it for the money. So, if someone wants to make "fake" rpm shocktowers, I'm fine with it. Plus I seriously do...

the only problems I have with TC is their ebay posting rule and the exchange rate which makes it quite expensive to be a full member for those of us in the US. Many there are so worried about someone else 'outing' their hidden ebay treasure, it is kinda pathetic. You can't post any active auction l...

I remember seeing these cars run over at the Ranch Pit Stop (RPS) raceway. They were so ugly, I just had to have one. :D Problem was, they cost a mint back in those days and I didn't have a penny to my name. I remember a yellow one in the case that I think was painted by Andy and had a few cut-outs ...

I like the Ultima buggy there with the exposed cells. Gotta watch out for shorts with the aluminum chassis. Looks like they used a low profile servo and barely got in in there. Yeah, I was wondering about chassis flex too without the top deck installed. How is that working out for you? On a side not...

Wow! Real nice, Ferretti. The nose plate works real well with that car. Dying the white parts will make it look better (except for the wheels, of course). I think the Protech II would be the correct period shell. I'm just about finished with mine, just need tires and a motor plate. I'll post pics wh...
