Re: RC10T Chinese part recommendations
I've been racing with the Tacon motors, Hobbywing ESC (35A and 60A) and Gens Ace 2s lipos for two years now and no failures. They are great for the budget minded person.....like me. ![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

Re: Brushlesa setup on gold pan?
Welcome to the madness bro. I run Hobbywing ESCs, Tacon motors and Gens Ace Lipos. My RC10 gold pan is raced with a 2950KV Tacon, 60A Hobbywing ESC and 4000mah 2s Gens Ace lipo pack geared at 81/26. The motor has gobs and gobs of torque! I generally have to set my radio at 90% throttle to keep it co...

Re: How are the Old is New builds doing at the tracks?
I race my A stamped 1985 RC10 on a regular basis and do quite well. I've TQed several times and just flat out beaten the "modern" buggies and SC trucks too. I run it with a Tacon 2950KV (13.5T) geared at 81/26-28 powered by an EZrun 35A ESC and Gens Ace 4000mah 2S 30C battery. The car has ...

I doubt you have to spend anywhere near that to get decent gear. Visit www.hobbyparz.com. They have great deals on what you're looking for. Also, visit your local hobby shop for some bargains.

Re: Scored a Kyosho Ultima @LHS
Mr ED, it is a 32dp gears. The only one I could find was a 16T. I'm thinking if I stay below a 3000KV brushless I should be fine or do you think different? Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Re: Scored a Kyosho Ultima @LHS
I have to agree too lebowski770. I'm not partial to anything other than RC10s but this one caught my eye and the price was the deal maker. I'm not familiar with Kyosho buggies but this one looks like it might make a neat racer with a mild brushless setup. I tore it down last night to give it a good ...

Scored a Kyosho Ultima @LHS
I just purchased an Ultima from my LHS for $40 ready to run. The tires appear brand new or have very little use. I want to upgrade the shocks and brushed motor with a brushless setup and race it. Hehehehe. Currently, the brushed motor has a 16T pinion. What do you gents suggest? Sorry for the fuzzy ...

What color to use
I'm painting my RC10 body using Fascolor Red and I wanted to know what color to use as a top coat. I know to use silver with white, but what about with red? thanks for the insight.
