My little rc10 junkyard.

Here is my little rc10 junkyard I have going of cars and parts I have gathered over time. 2 of them are the pre stealth 6 gear chassis. The other 2 are stealth cars. I've actually restored a nice 6gear rc10 about a year ago but unfortunatly lost the pics of it. I hope to get a couple of these restor...

Re: Kyosho... Bringing knives to gunfights for 20 years.

Kyosho definatly did have the underdog in this case. At the same time though, it was cool with indi suspension and all. But the real monsters have live axles so clod wins for scale there.

Re: getting one of my toys back

Man I miss my sledge as well. Sad thing was I had an orginal white chassis one, sold it. then I eventually got one of the newer ones and sold it too. Definatly fun trucks to mess around with.

Re: Choosing an ESC these days ain't easy. Please advise me!

I'd definatly look at getting a mamba max pro, and any 13.5-17.5 motor. I have had nothing but great luck with castle. Plus with the castle link tuning is a breeze.

Man that thing brings back some memories, they were always silly fast, super simple and didn't handle for crap. They made a decent drag car though!

Re: my life size tamiya rally

Those are definatly some odd compression numbers, as they are VERY low except for the last wet set. Those are a little bit closer to what it should be, but usually you only want a few psi variance between cylinders. I would probably do a rebuild on it.

Re: my life size tamiya rally

Nice 260! I've always been a fan of the z cars, up until the 280zx's, I am not the biggest fan of those. I would love to do an rb25/26det swap to one.

Re: Mamba Micro Pro In A 540 Brushed Crawler?

You should definatly be fine with that set up, as there are quite a few crawler guys that run 1/18 set ups (mamba micro and sidewinder) in crawlers without a problem. The bec isn't really needed until you run 3s. It is nice if you run the castle bec, b/c you can up the voltage a bit to your servo to...

Definatly an earlier rustler, but not an early early one as yours does have the slipper clutch on it which is a plus!

Re: budget lipos?

you could look into the turnigy hardcase lipos, they are pretty cheap, and get the job done alright. hobbyking.com sells them. the only downside is the wait for them to get here from overseas.

Re: B4 wheels on B3 Will they work?

I may be wrong but I want to say the b4 has more of a positive offset on the wheels, so it would end up narrowing the track on the b3.
