Re: Duke engines, concept and video
That was pretty cool, but I found their tagline, "The power of symmetry" rather humorous, considering the engine has 5 cylinders. :P Both inline and V-arranged engines are actually more symmetrical than the Duke engine. Not necessarily. Cylinders arranged in a circular pattern w...

Re: Duke engines, concept and video
I am no engineer, but I have built quite a few 1000HP engines and I am not seeing a rotating engine block or cylinder head anywhere in this video. The major problem I see with the engine is the "ball cup" that the connecting rod attaches to the crank. Seems like it would cause a problem to...

You could always use a brush for the final step too.

Re: OrangeRx GR300 dsm are they any good??
I just bought one and put it in my SC18, it is super tiny which is one of the reasons I chose to put it in that truck. It bound quickly and the short period I played around with it everything seemed to work just fine. I ended up ordering another one that I plan on using in one of my other cars. I wa...

Re: 10T to T2 Stealth question
Not compatible, the case is different and the diff of a T2 is the same as a GT. Rpm made a conversion box but it is discontinued. That was quick. So unless I find an RPM case I am SOL? Will a T2 trans bolt to a 10T chassis? What trans ratio did the stealth buggies have? Basically, I am asking, what...

10T to T2 Stealth question
I have a late model 10T with a 2.25 stealth. I think for the direction I am going a 2.6 would be a better option for me. Can I just change out the gears inside or do I have to buy a new trans? TIA

Mine was pretty much 99% accurate. I am about 30 minutes west of Newark.

Old new member finally saying hello
Been lurking, searching, recommending and reading the forum for years and figured it was time to start being a little more active. I posted a thread in the truck section about my RC10T with some pictures and I will soon start my search for a buggy, just trying to find the right one, dont know if I w...
