Re: Looky What I Just 'Stole'...
That's cool! Not to hijack your thread but I actually have 3 of these. I was/am going to use for Trans-Am racing. The first pair I got complete with radios, chargers and extra batteries for $125.00 US. One of them is actually the graphite version.

That's the first time I've ever heard Ruth Gordon described as "cute".Halgar wrote:civilguy wrote:... Ruth Gordon was my favorite part - sassy feisty old lady! Cute as a bug.

That is so cool! I wish I could justify that kind of money all at once. Invariably, if i save up there is always something that comes first. ![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)

After paint is the best way. I've never had trouble scratching the paint. I use a Dremel for the really close work.

It makes you wonder if this car has survived or gotten used up and taken apart. Just think of someone digging this out of a box in the basement and having it show up in e-bay! Kinda makes you salivate at the thought. ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Wow! Took a look at his stuff. He is way out of my league! Still, I really like the idea of bringing cars back from the dead using new parts only for the hopelessly destroyed stuff. They may not be perfect or completely "accurate" but they'll definitely be created from my own labor. That's...

Ahhh, thanks for the info! Are the bare chassis and aluminum towers the only obvious signs that it is a turbo? I actually have a patch cut for the sunroof, we'll see how installation goes.

Frog project from spare parts
I have a ton of parts from auctions I have won over the past several months and being the type of person who can't throw anything away I decided to see if I could put some of them to good use. I have had the two black rear rims for a while and I recently won the front rims with the cool Pro Line waf...

Re: Another new...er...used gold tub!
Pardon my ignorance but I've seen the word "Edinger" used a lot in reference to certain cars and parts. I haven't been able to figure out specifically what that refers to yet. Can someone enlighten me?

Another new...er...used gold tub!
I won this on E-bay a couple of weeks ago. Even though the seller claimed it had a stealth trans you could tell by the fuzzy pics that it didn't. I got it for a decent price so that didn't bother me. I would like some help identifying the body though - It's different from any I've seen so far. The c...

What a beauty! I'll save you the heartache, send the wheels to me and I'll give you some good old plastic ones that you won't mind beating up. I can even paint them silver if you want! ![Razz :P](./images/smilies/icon_razz.gif)

Thanks for the offer Mike. I might take you up on it at some point but I have a lot of irons in the fire right now. This buggy is waiting for just the right inspiration.
