Re: Tool for gold shocks?
Don't worry, I don't use pliers. I did that once a long time ago and realized it messed them up.

Tool for gold shocks?
Is there a tool to use to help take off the tops of the Kyosho gold shocks (to avoid scratching them up every time with a pliers)? Kyosho had the included tool for the smaller red shocks with their unique design. I saw a shock tool for modern shocks, but it seems too big. Thanks for the help.

Kyosho Turbo Ultima vs. Pro XL body
Will a Turbo Ultima body that has been cut and finished fit on a Kyosho Ultima Pro XL? I know the XL chassis is longer, so it seems like it would not. Thanks for the help Ultima experts!

Re: Kyosho Ultima Pro
Mr. Ed - that's my experience. The ball diffs are hard for me set-up perfectly and such a pain to take off the wheel/tire and adjust. I think I like the stock non-ball one better, but I was wondering if the Thorp one is good or if it has some issues like the Kyosho ball diff.

Re: kyosho receiver help!!
Tower Hobbies catalog sold the Pulsar and heavily promoted it (along with everything Kyosho). Thus, you find a lot of Pulsars with Optimas, Ultimas, etc. I believe Pulsar/Kyosho will work together. It's like the current Tower/Tactic radios.

Re: Kyosho Ultima Pro
I bid on that Thorp diff. What do you think - which is the best diff. for the Ultima (the original, the Option House ball, or the Thorp ball)? Are the two ball diff. options that much better than the original?

Re: Are there aftermarket complete screw sets for Turbo Opti
I used a RC Screwz set with my Ultima restoration and they were fine. Just get a nice set of full size individual allen wrenches - makes it so much nicer.

Is that a Kyosho chassis or an aftermarket one (Trinity?). Looks good.

Repro gold shock collars?
I have a complete set of Kyosho gold shocks, but three are missing the top collars. I know that most modern shocks don't have these collars and they use spacers. I have nice black spacers that look good, but will putting these on a runner put too much pressure on the top shock cap? Are there any rep...
