Very nice car!!
I've always had a lot of respect for these Buicks. A friend of mine back in Illinois had a couple of them.
His brother even raced them quite successfully.

Re: Can nylon be painted
Thanks fst72vette Sorry for the late reply The wheels are jcracingproducts wheels. At least a few others here on the forum have used them. They are very nice 2.2 wheels that are a direct fit for 1/4" tapered axel rears and the fronts work with 3/8 x 3/16 front bearings. The wheels will come eit...

Re: FasKolor FasFluorescent: UV-reactive?
I am not sure about Parma paint but I have used luminescent paint with uv lights for a "star light " ceiling in my theater. I used Glowinc brand. It glows fairly bright blue under uv and will remaining glowing for about an hour. When it comes to luminescent paint green is the brightest fol...

Re: Radioactivities RC10
Gotta tell ya Doug, my old gold pan is a little like me. Step back a few yards and get a little out of focus and she doesn't look too scary. Up close not so much. I haven't given too much thought to the endgame yet. Scavenging some of the parts off the Houge and putting them back where they came fro...

Re: Radioactivities RC10
Thanks so much Doug and Matt Other than the forum, very few people have seen the car. A few relatively disinterested friends and my wife. Fortunately she really likes it and supports my hobbies (I am very luckly). Your support and opinions are much appreciated! One other small, easily overlooked det...

Re: Radioactivities RC10
I appreciate that DaveM
I still need to get tires and can't seem to make up my mind.
Low profile and wide would be my preferences.
Notice the hinge pins? Super easy to anodize blue and match the Associated titanium turnbuckles.

Re: Radioactivities RC10
Thank you Coelacanth The film, as well as the paint, are applied to the underneath side of the body and wing. The wheels are on the outer surface and then clear coated. I attempted a hydrodipping DIY in the paint forum. Take a look if you want. ???Hydrodipping??? Dipping on the underside is somewhat ...

Radioactivities RC10
I've been slowly trying to breath life back into m RC10. It started as an A-stamp Edinger 6016. My first pic showed my car with Kyosho Platinums that I never really understood and I relpaced them with B6 shocks. That started the ball rolling. Chassis, front and rear arms, 6 gear transmission, titani...
