FasKolor FasFluorescent: UV-reactive?

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if FasKolor FasFluorescent paints are UV-reactive? Do they glow or illuminate when under a blacklight?

I'm building an AFX slot car track and I want each lane's outside turn guardrails, which I'm making from Lexan, color-coded red & blue. I have several cars with lights and for "night racing", I thought it would be cool to have the guardrails glow under a blacklight. I plan to use FasFluorescent Blue & Red.

Under a blacklight the Orange, Yellow, and Green glow very nicely. I can not speak for the other colors though.

I am not sure about Parma paint but I have used luminescent paint with uv lights for a "star light " ceiling in my theater. I used Glowinc brand.
It glows fairly bright blue under uv and will remaining glowing for about an hour.
When it comes to luminescent paint green is the brightest followed by blue-green,blue and to a less extent red.
Thicker application is brighter and glows longer. Painting on a white background helps as well.
Lots of companies out there on the net make luminescent paint and as I remember some made fluorescent paint also.

If you need a glow in the dark effect, you have to mix your Fasfluorescent paint with Fasglow (40190)

Thanks for the info, guys. I'm looking for a UV-reactive, not glow-in-the-dark effect; i.e., it looks like light blue or red in normal light, but under blacklight, it glows. I believe the glow-in-the-dark effect is different in that it "stores" normal light, and when the lights are off, they glow with that pale greenish light. Not looking for that kind.

Back in my computer modding days, I used ClearNeon spray paint which was excellent stuff, it sprayed on clear but under UV light, it glowed. I'm not sure how well it adheres to Lexan, though...and secondly, I want the guardrails to be colored red or blue in normal daylight to indicate the lane with outside curves...but flick on a blacklight and all the guardrails will glow red or blue. If the FasFluorescent paints do this, it's hitting two birds with one stone and no need to experiment with layering on different kinds of paint.
