I have a Kimbrough servo saver that popped open when I was removing the screw from it after taking it off a servo. Getting the spring back inside the 2 halves of the servo saver body can be really frustrating. However, there are some small holes near the spring stop feature. Running a piece of waxed dental floss (fishing line probably works too) through the spring and the holes allows you to pull the spring into place and hold it there while the servo side of the unit is added. The pic below shows the setup for this technique with a broken servo saver.

Finishing up a partially built 12L4 I snagged on ebay and I planned on putting in a Futaba S3002 metal gear servo. The problem is, the metal spline has really fine threads and a really short screw. The screw is long enough to mount a horn but not a...

that was a great deal on that L4, I almost bid on it but I want a link car so I can run Lipo. Are you going to come out to Thunder to run it?
Yea, it was thanks. The seller was a little careless and didn't bother to bag the rest of the small...
The RC10B2 #9155 black servo saver parts - did anyone ever make an alloy upgrade?
If not, does anyone know of one made for different kit that would work?

Are the B2's shorter than an RC10's servo saver? I bought a set of GPM cranks for a Losi Street Weapon to use on a RC10 Terminator build that I wanted to rotate the servo on. The holes were pretty close:
I have a rtr t4 and i just broke the servo (at the track).. the built in servo saver seemed loose but is that not enough?? Are people runing mini servo savers on the servo too?? any help would be great...

yeah, just upgrade the servo and not have to worry about it again. That S3305 is over twice the torque of the 1504 that comes in the T4 rtr with similar transit speed. I have one that's been in a spec slash for well over two years now, it usually...
i currently have a kimbrough gas truck servo saver on my nats buggy, its nice but has a bit of slop to it that makes trimming the steering and getting it do go straight impossible.
is there any style/brand of a servo mounted saver that you guys...

lol, so i check and the steering is totally bound up...
I have heard lots of drivers on here tout the advantages of ditching the servo saver, and I see my World's kit comes without. With the specs on servos going through the roof, I'm not surprised, but still nervous of damaging parts. Is there (in the...

it aint the torque numbers that justify the absence of servo saver - it's the teeth's material ;)
(lotsa holding torque + weak material = broken gear)
I'm beating my head against the wall trying to figure this one out. On my RC12e, the old homemade looking servo saver that it came with was so brittle upon removing it, it broke. Trying to find original parts for a 30 year old car is kind of tough...
Well I screwed up and broke the servo saver in my RC10 gold pan buggy. Are these still avaible? My manual says it's part number #6255. If not...then what will work?
Hi, i'm new at this forum. I have an associated rc 10 team car. I'm starting to rebuild an redecorate it with new pieces. I have a doubt, and it is that i'm looking for a new servo saver for this car, but i don't want the original of rc 10. Any...
