What is the difference between the checkpoint onroad motors and offroad motors?

Thats what I was thinknig but I have seen them 9X2 onroad and 9X2 offroad.

Probably the diameter of the wires used.

Maybe also things as airgap or brushes and springs.

I remember reading somewhere that offroad winds were tailored for more bottom end torque where onroad winds were made for higher rpm for top speed.
This can still be accomplished to some degree by adjusting the timing on the motor. Zero timing for most torque and advanced for higher rpm
