RC10 pan chassis, what is it?

Hi all,

Got this in a "job lot".
It's been re-sprayed blue and there's a "few" extra holes.
The milled bits, one is rough could have been home done.
Back motor guard, very neat, but cut down?
The sides seem to be thiner than any other pan I have??
Weights 152g

Is it anything special, or a homebrew???

While I think it was just slimmed down a bit in the rear, it does look like it was very well done. I think it would be a great start for an old/new build.

Looks like BS to me. If there actually are 4 available tubs, they are probably rere tubs from the blow-out AE did last year... or the year before.

Ok so here's what I'm looking for. I'm in need of some support for the front nose plate of the car. I had the original body brace tubes on the car, but due to a little mishap with a cement parking block, they broke and the car looked like a potato...

I'm building a rc10 DS in one of the new 6001 gold pans.

I was considering replacing the GT style bell cranks with b2 style so I could free up some space to move the electronics forward.

Is this a bad idea?

Are there any ways to do this without...

I'm new to the forum and to the gold pan car. I have a chance at getting an original B chassis car. The seller has had this for quite a while and has sanded down the chassis and painted it. He wants $75 for it. I want to re-build it with a gold pan...

Hi guys -- what's the width of a 1980s gold pan chassis tub at its widest point? I just need the width of the chassis tub, not the width from wheel to wheel (tub only).

Given that everything else is equal; What is more desirable a Gold Pan or Graphite Chassis?

Yes, you never know if you will like it or not until you yourself try it.
As far as coveted for me, I covered that early on... only aluminum tubs for me.

I am building a modernized RC10 race car and am looking for opinions about chassis selection. I have several a/b/c pan chassis's and also several graphite pieces. I am using the rc carbon works carbon 3mm worlds towers and thought a carbon chassis...
