Andy's Toyota Stadium Truck Body

Post by Basher67 »

Painted this one yesterday. Its an Andy's body that's produced and sold by Sabula Tech. I have been buying bodies from Sabula Tech for a couple years now and the quality has always been very good. I've always loved the classic Toyota Race Team colors. MCI provided the Toyota badging decals.

That turned out awesome! I agree, I've always loved the '90s Toyota Trophy trucks, reminds me of watching Ironman Stewart back in the day 8)

Did you hand mask the body or use some kind of vinyl cutter to make the masks?

I measure and draw all the lines with an ultra fine sharpie on the outside and then hand mask and cut everything using Tamiya tape. The yellow paper tape, not the white plastic flexible stuff. Flex tape works bettter for curves, but the paper tape is better for straight lines, overlapping, mindow masking etc.
