I love it! Definitely not many around.

pretty sure the speed control is wrong- that era Bolink had an Associated style wiper with micro switch reverse with a modular plate that double side tapes to the servo.

I can't help busting out laughing! You need to WOIN that thing! lol Maybe have the plate pieces cloned so you don't scar up the original bits.

Really neat. :) Looks like one of Bob Stormer's gear reduction boxes between the motor and motor plate.

I vaguely remember these trucks and I always wondreed how they would work.

I agree you should do a oin with some new plates and take it to a track and see how it goes.

I could see it being decent on an oval track.

I can see it now... a nice carbon fiber weave plate set, some short big bore shocks, modern 2.2 truck rubber, lundsford turnbuckles, aluminum screws, brushless and lipo... Ultimate WOIN subbing weird for what ;)

It's not a POS...it was just misunderstood

Or rather, IT misunderstood what a monster truck was

It would have been a fast truck in dirt oval

No need to destroy it, there doesn't look to be much on that that couldn't be copied and made with a bit of simple hand tools! lol

I agree that you should leave it alone in that condition.

Looks like the original body was a Bolink S-10...and you can still get those new from RJ Speed. A Blazer would work too.

Chris

That's what I was thinking. pick up the rear axle/motor pod from a modern car and then make new plates to match those. I think it would be fun.

Invaders are cheap and easy to come by, it's the monster truck conversion wheels that would be tough.
