Re: ** Kyosho JJ Ultima Waffle **
This is the Guinness World Record for largest waffle, and I am even more disappointed in humanity than I was. I mean, 8' ??? :( Two people are moving this thing around with a cardboard roll! waffle record 1.jpg To compare, the world's largest pancake is 49' !!! This thing required cranes!!! ...

Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread
I don’t know how to attach YouTube links Quick tip. When you are posting, hit the YouTube button, and it will put some brackets in your post. Copy your youtube link address in between the brackets, and then delete everything from the beginning through the second = sign. So you end up with that last...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
I think it turned out pretty good minus the dry rotted tires, hopefully repros resurface from the overseas seller at some point. Yea, I got my 3speed Pickup tires from him, and when I got into my Blazer, I thought it would be easy to just order from him again, but nope. I contacted him directly awh...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Got a bit more done on the SRB. I ended up breaking the pot metal on one of the front susp arms, so need to track one of those down. The shocks have serious dissimilar metal corrosion, and I think I have three worked out, but one is a little messed up. The rear body mount post had a wood screw in it...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Woke up on a rainy Saturday, with no real plan, saw the SRB parts spread all over the place, and decided to get into it. Building this the opposite way you should. Get to a step, gather, repair and clean parts as needed, and assemble that step. Rinse and repeat. Makes for a slow build. This is my fi...

Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread
I have had this, relatively inexpensive, table top drill press for probably about 20 years or so. I just realized, or have long since forgotten, that it is adjustable speed. I actually discovered this by looking at FBMP for a replacement (with multiple speeds), and stumbled across the same o...

Re: Bolink "Super" Digger
I would say that's Invader O/R. The super digger would be the same for the most part but would attach to the chassis not to a "t plate" adapter like that. They also made a kit without shocks iirc, and it used springs on those oval holes instead That also has the earlier spring coupler, la...

Re: Bolink "Super" Digger
Super duper old thread bump!
Am I looking at the rear pod for a Super Digger? There really seems to be zero pics of one through the Google machine. If it is, anyone have a pic of the front, or the whole thing?

Re: ** Kyosho JJ Ultima Waffle **
I honestly own both Belgian and "traditional" (American?) waffle makers, as I honestly switch back and forth on which I crave, and brinner happens in this house at least once a week. :D At one point in time, I owned a double waffle maker, which was good, but not great. You gotta be quick i...

Re: a thread for BambuLab machines
Let's talk strongest filaments for engineering / mechanical / RC models. Black to keep it simple. Doesn't need to be Bambu, but has to play well with Bambu hardware / software. I have heard good things about the Bambu PLA-CF, and have some on order, but would like to get thoughts from others. 90% of...

Re: Let's Talk Tractor / Truck Pulling
The hitch actually goes above the axle line these days. You want the front end to be pulled up, then weight is added to counterbalance the effect. This puts a lot more down pressure on the rear tires (fulcrum point) for increased traction. In the sportsman class, the max allowed hitch height is 4 i...

Re: Let's Talk Tractor / Truck Pulling
So, for the rear pumpkin, the current plan as of 1936 EST 5/15/24 is to run a Traxxas Sledge differential, with a spool, and 7mm HSS driveshaft to 12mm hex couplers and aluminum Clod wheel adapters. This will probably change, but it is the current plan. I am thinking about just designing / printing ...
