Buggy body question.
A8040 XXL buggy body..... is that the OE replacement for the XXCR?
I was reading somewhere that this body was originally designed for the JRXPro SE with the long wheelbase conversion installed. Anyone confirm? or is that just BS.
A8042 is the Xcelerator body that goes on the XX Kinwald edition. Not to be confused with the above.

Re: Buggy body question.
According to the Losi documentation, yes, the 8040 is for the XX-CR. The body should also be distinguishable by the lack of the scoop in the drivers side pod.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

Re: Buggy body question.
The wheels on the XXCR KE are the same lexan dish version used on the original XX. The XXCR uses the 5 spoke wheels.bearrickster wrote:So what is the differents in a XXcr and a XXcr KW? other than the body
I beleive the front tower is different on the KE and of course...the blue motor plate. I know there are more differences, but I can't think of them at this time.

Re: Buggy body question.
I have an XXL (8040) body stashed aside for my Pro SE. I heard from somewhere that that one was for the SE with the long WB installed. Guess I was misinformed somewhere along the line. I'm sure it would fit fine, but not what I want on there.bearrickster wrote:what are you trying to install it on? I also have a XXCR that has an OK body, but am looking for another. Well turns out, I have the body for the XXCR (not to be confused with the standard XX body, 8008). Now the hunt still ensues for a Pro SE body.
I know that nobody has one of these new/uncut to sell, but would you be willing to ship it to me so I could make a mould and return it? I'll cover all shipping? Can't hurt to ask...
