Buggy body on a truck

Hello all

I'm wondering about a new body for my truck.
I don't want a truck body but a buggy body.
What body can fit on my T2 ?
I'll also add a wing but it's not a big problem i think.

Does some of you guys already made this ?

I had this with my fist truck, it was a traxxas trx1 buggy with the truck kit, i kept the body and i found it nice
i'd like to do the same with my T2

a viper body fits pretty well on a T2 chassis. See Scr8p's B1.5 build.

he is using the 'short' position of the nose and chassis, so your truck would be a little empty in the front end with no lexan compared to his buggy. you could always use a nose from another body and tuck the body under it to give it a stretched look.

I'm not sure if this helps since it's not a T2 front tower. I use a Protec body on a graphite chassis with 10t arms. I used an A&L tall front tower and trimmed the nose to the width of a 10t nose plate

I've got front wheels with ball bearings inside and no hex for the rear wheels.
Should i go for some rear hex ? What about for the front ?

Sure, just that you have to either mount the body high or cut it to clear the tower, in which case the tower will protrude.

My rear tower is a modified GT2 tower affixed to a GT bulkhead. Front is standard T/GT.

Front wheels for the SC10 2WD accept standard 3/16"x3/8" bearings. Yes, you will need hex adapters for the rear.

Thing with the buggy shocktower is that I would need diffrent shocks, I don't want that to be honest....

One, because I had it lying around, and two, because I was able to tie it into the chassis from the bottom; not possible with a standard fiberglass or CF GT tower:



As for the T3, sure, it could be made to work. I don't see any advantage to it, though.
