270mm is 10.65''
I don't think thats correct, on side of the original RC10T box, it Say's that the wheelbase is 11.25'' , which is about 285.6 mm , I don't think the T2 is shorter than the T.
Hi my name is Mike and I'm a Chromaholic, my wheels have been chrome free for over a year, thanks to everyone that made fun of them.
I measured my T2 with the wheels on from outside to outside, I came up with 11 7/8" measuring the same with my 10T I got 12 5/8". The 10T is stock with stock rims and tires and the T2 has RPM wheels with gladiator tires if that makes a difference to you.

RC Chick when you say your measuring from outside to outside , that sounds like your measuring the width . I'm talking about, from the center of the front axle to the center rear axle.

Im having a bad day here, you want the center of the front to rear? Wouldn't that be the length? Not the wheel base? Sorry stupid girl questions. But I was taught the wheel base is the width of the vehicle.
Yeah it's more like 275mm for the T2 with the hub carriers mounted forward.
RC10T with rear arm mounts in short wheelbase position is about the same. RC10T with arm mounts in long wheelbase is nearly 285mm.

The wheelbase is center to center axle, if you have a original RC10T box you can see what I talking about .
Here's a bad picture , maybe you can see what I mean.
