Vintage lexan with some paint!
Vintage associated Nissan body that a friend of mine that I race slot cars with painted for me.
I thought it looked pretty good and he even made me some nice Nissan Decalls
I gave him some other old bodies and I can't wait to see what they turn out like.

Re: Vintage lexan with some paint!
Wow! That's is really sweet. I just picked up 2 #6128 Nissan '92 GTP bodies last Thursday from my LHS who has a mother lode of old parts and bodies which he accumulated over the last 20 years. I have a 10L that I'm building up to showcase a Tecnacraft Aero-Trac kit which is pn 17-21A. It is a lexan venturi tunnel that fits under the rear engine transmission assembly. I was hoping to find the original Nissan GTP from 88-89 which is on the box but I haven't seen any on the Bay and LHS didn't have that one although I picked up 3 more different pan car bodies. A Dahm's Spice GTP looks like it might fit the RC10L. Anyway great paint job just wondered what you are going to put it on.

I have been building a 12L in original white nylon and white fiberglass that I am going to mount this body on.
Have a nice day!

I happen to have the box art body for the 10L and I am sure some of the other Lexan fans around here also have one or 2 laying around

Have a nice day!

Re: Vintage lexan with some paint!
that looks great, what chassis is lurking under there?
I'd love to find a 1/8 version in that paint scheme.

Re: Vintage lexan with some paint!
Looks awesome! I love it!
I have the old McAllister Nissan decal sheets and an Associated GTP-ZX body waiting to go onto my 12L graphite if I ever build it up.
Somehow, my project list keeps getting longer, and not shorter.

Re: Vintage lexan with some paint!
I recently ran across the same body Bill has pictured in 1/10 scale. I didn't know AE made one in 1/10 and of course I snatched it up. I guess I missed it in the post, but I thought the pictured was 1/10, I see the reference to 1/12. Also, Parma made similar 1/10 decals to the ones that Doug mentioned from McAllister.
Looks good.

Re: Vintage lexan with some paint!
Thanks guys I will pass on the positives to Mr. Larry Stewart who painted it. I also handed him a Fastfasion Nissan GTP and a MRP Ford c-100. he said he was going to paint them like actual race cars. The decals are just some home made ones that he makes they are thick and the have the issue of not printing white
But I think he did a great job. And I have some vintage Parma and Autographics decals for it if I ever get around to mounting it up on the 12L. I just set it on a Kyosho Fantom Chassis I have laying around to snap the pics. Nice decals Jay! I think it should go on a 12LWls chassis but I sold all of my newer 12L cars last year when i thought I was done with the crazyness of this collecting Bug..
