shodog's rc10t replica
shodog's rc10t replica
I was going to cut this chassis up to make a stealth 1991 replica but I am sure I would have been given a lot of shite for that since this is a pretty rare chassis and its also never been ran... ok so anyways, I hope Jim takes this as a compliment, which is how it was intended. So for those of you that thought Jim's truck was super cool and wished you could have it, I offer you this replica. When Jim finishes his truck I will do the same and then sell it just kidding... well kinda. I am planning on selling this truck when I am finished so if you absolutely love shodog's truck and have been looking for a composite craft truck chassis, pm me.
Thanks for looking

Asa, do you have a part number or some kind of lead on those standoffs? I've been trying to find some of those and the only way I could get them was to get a whole ultima lol but I would feel bad trashing a whole car just for some standoffs.

Re: shodog's rc10t replica
Those standoffs were used on the Ultima's and Triumph's with graphite chassis' and Optima Mid's to secure the upper deck to the lower one. If you guys are stuck for them, let me know and I can have a dig through some stuff to see if I have some laying around.

Re: shodog's rc10t replica
McMaster Carr sells various diameter aluminum rods hard anodized in dark grey. 12" long, 1/4" dia rod is like 7 bucks.. You could always cut to length, and drill and tap some holes in the ends..... That's my plan anyways.

Re: shodog's rc10t replica
I have two standoffs plus two steering posts in case anyone is interested. They are brand-spanking new but not in the package.
Re: shodog's rc10t replica
Excellent, i could really use the two stand offs because this truck only has 4... it needs 6 and the front two i am using are the steering posts, they don't look right. pm me you price or trade interests.RichieRich wrote:I have two standoffs plus two steering posts in case anyone is interested.
