Early JRXT ?
Hello, some of you may have seen this truck on Facebook, as the previous owner said he posted a picture of it to get a value of it.
I’m not on Facebook, so I can’t see what he posted, but he said some folks were mentioning that it looks like an earlier model. The previous owner didn’t explain what made it seem like an earlier model. It does have the wider style battery holder which I remember someone saying was an older style part.
I’ll do my best to get some pictures up.
I did end up buying the truck.

Re: Early JRXT ?
I thought the JRXT chassis had a cutout for servo horn clearance. Maybe I'm confusing brands.
Frankensteined RC10T3 / Franky Jr RC10GT-e (x2) / A+ stamp / Toy Story RC / Graphite replica / B1.5 BFG 5LTi / Clonewald / Hyper Hornet

Re: Early JRXT ?
You’re right, I think that’s how I’ve always seen them. I just didn’t doubt that this was original because everything else looked right.
It was 98% built, and still has the unopened bag with the bumper and front body posts. All the plastic pieces look like they are present and uncut. Maybe missing some stickers, not sure though.
The guy I bought it from got it like this about 10 years ago.
I appreciate the feedback.

Re: Early JRXT ?
He offered it to me for $800 local pickup, but I'm not in SoCal. It's definitely a nice truck, but I'm not excited about dropping that much cash on something right now.

Ya same guy. I think I got a little better deal because I bought a XXT MF1 truck from him recently.
