JConcepts RC10 Hazard Wheels Gone?

Post by morrisey0 »

In looking for a couple of sets of Hazard wheels, all I can find available anywhere (including manufacturer's site) is yellow, and a few sites I have been to are listing the white and black versions as Discontinued. Anyone know for sure if they are done? Never really had a reason to order them before, and as soon as I do, nothing. And yes, I do see a couple of sets on ebay, but they are marked up and by the time I buy 8 wheels from 4 different auctions, the shipping has killed it even further.

What other 1.7/1.9 options are readily available at this point? I am somehow down to only one set of rear Jellybeans, so short for a second car in a pair build I am trying to work out.
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

I don't know if the Hazzard wheels are discontinued but availability was always spotty.

They recently released the Mono wheels in those sizes, as well as a couple more tire options.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

I should have worded the question as, are there any good looking options available? JK to those that like them. No offense, just not my style.

You could 3D print something to adapt Kyosho Scorpion, Beetle, and Tomahawk rear wheels.

The front are easy enough. Just use 5/16" OD bearings.

I haven't seen any in person, but MCI has reproduced the Jellybean wheels.

It looks like the yellow Hazzard wheels are available directly from JConcepts.
