This one came in a couple of days ago, and it is sealed NIP which was a surprise. The cardboard tagging is gone, but it is still sealed up. I figured the 8046 marking meant something, but so far I can't find anything. It looks to me a BL-4003 motor.

Even in the ‘92 catalog I have I don’t show them going outside the 4xxxx series. I’m not sure what that number is, but I don’t think it’s the part number.

Ran across this little baby today. It has the correct early Bolink logo on it, but I have never seen this motor on a car that I can remember.

I got one of those awhile back, and put it in my Challenger. It was NIP, but had surface rust on the can....I had to remove (then reapply) the label to clean it. :?

Info on the header card was BL-4000 Stock 05 Motor.

Classic! I have never seen one of these in my life. What exactly is the logo supposed to represent? It looks like 2 monks playing ping-pong and farting fire. I was at a similar party one time. It was the regional ping-pong and burrito festival circa 1995.

Whatever you are drinking, ease off.

All I see is a race car at the center of two crossed checkered flags.

I have a very similar motor. But the label is green and the endbell is blue.
I´m pretty sure BoLink had the most variations on their 05 labels.
At least have seen lots of different ones so far.

But I think labels as yours are early. I have others just saying BoLink which are newer.
Part # seems the same for all or most of them.

At first, I literally went with two armadillos roasting some sort of meat on a spit. :D

The logo just doesn't work well in two tone.

I was thinking it was a Can Am car, but yeah, I see that you are correct.

I had one with a blue endbell several years ago. The label was a very faded light blue, but it could have also started out green. Here's the old thread about it:
