What VW Bug Body is this?
Hi guys can you help me out?
I have this old RC10T which I inherited when my best man passed away almost 10 years ago. His parents thought I should have it, since I brought him into RC.
Anyway, I’m thinking about making this one a shelter with the same body but new.
Is that a PARMA ? Can anyone tell from the picture?
Thanks,
Tony

That might be a Bolink body, the front fender mounted turn signals are unique. Personally.. I would keep that body your friend made..just clean and touch it up. Give the chassis a good restoration, replacing broken/worn parts.. but keep the original body.

I kinda think it is a kamtec, first thought was Tamiya but doesn’t have the pressing for the emblem on the hood, and not sure you could get it without body mount holes. If it is the kamtec it fits the chassis a lot better than I would have thought.

Re: What VW Bug Body is this?
I understand where you’re going with your suggestions, I still remember the whole painting fiasco from 20+ years ago. He painted from the inside blue and yellow, it was a total mess, so he covered it from the outside in matte black.
I still have the exact same stickers, so I could replicate the paint job with an intact body. In the rear it is attached to the motor brace screws, in the front to longer pins in the truck position.
That way it fits pretty well to the truck dimensions. I am thinking if this MIGHT be a 1/8th scale body.
Thanks for the help so far
