Sourcing JRX2 wing wire
Hi everyone,
I've found wing buttons in a few places, but having a hard time finding the actual wing wire... anyone know of anywhere I can find one, or a viable alternative?
Also curious what the consensus is on bodies... Sabula or TBG?
It's for this little number...

Any semi stocked hobby shop should have . 078" wire in the section where they have tubing, balsa and plastic modeling stock.
Otherwise you can find music wire in the same diameter at industrial places like McMaster Carr

Re: Sourcing JRX2 wing wire
I recently made a wing wire for my XX. It was pretty easy. Best part is the wire only costs a couple of dollars and is long enough to make several.
Great looking JRX2! Are those RPM rear link mounts?

Re: Sourcing JRX2 wing wire
Thanks! This is a brand new acquisition, still sussing out everything on it. It’s pretty RPM’ed out, which was a nice surprise. So far I’ve only changed out the wheels. Only question mark so far is the slipper, I’m not sure what it is. Once I get it together a bit more I’ll post a proper thread on it with more pics.
BTW, your build threads have been a source of great inspiration!

Nice looking car! JG front bumper.. Technacraft titanium turnbuckles.. Wild Cherry wheels(my favorites).. Vari-spike rear tires.. slipper looks like an A&L Power Clutch.
