Losi jrx22
So I wanted to save this project for a little later but some of my other projects have hit a dead end waiting on parts so here I go. After I completed my all turn buckle 5 link runner I noticed how good the 5 link suspension is on a rough dirt track which is the kind of tracks I run on mostly. The only thing I didn't like about the car was how it jumped. Part of the problem is because the track I'm running on is really more of a 1/8 track so the jumps are kinda big. also back when the jrx2 was new the jumps on most tracks where smaller. So those two reasons combined made the car not jump as good as I would have liked. The more modern cars I saw running had a lot better time on the jumps this left me wishing a modern buggy had 5 link. That would be perfect for this track. Well I have a 3d printer so I thought why not make one. So that's what I'll be doing converting this 22 4.0 into a 5 link car.

Yup ! Do it !

If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

Re: Losi jrx22
So I've got most of the parts printed just waiting on some parts to come in so I can test fit everything.
Here are some of the links. I am putting a piece of all thread through the 3d printed pieces this will hopefully allow me to print them in user friendly pla while also making them strong.
This is the new side plate I made to accomodate the link mount.- TheDiamondOne

Re: Losi jrx22
Finally got the last few things I needed to do the initial assembly of the suspension, so here it is!
Still a few adjustments to the prints that need to be made but I am close to having a roller.- coxbros1

Re: Losi jrx22
All I need is wheels and I'll have a roller! You might notice something kinda weird in the front more on that later
. I also need your guys suggestions on a body. So all the bodies intended for this car a cab forward, the original losi 22 had a rear cab body but I don't think it will fit this car, so if any of you guys know a body that might work on this that's rear cab that I would love to know!

Re: Losi jrx22
Really cool idea and excellent execution. I am very curious to hear how it drives.
I would think a JRX PRO body may fit with a bit of cutting. They are longer than the JRX2, but wider than the SE, which you will probably need for the trailing arms.

Re: Losi jrx22
Thank you for the suggestion! I think I know someone with a jrx pro so I can see how that would work.
