If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

They ran on diesel? That's kind of cool.
Ahh, back in the day when everyone wore a suit to work, and apparently to the track.

Diesel fumes, smoke, indoors no ventilation...ah the good ol' days before all the regulations and codes. I miss them days
Seeing that kind'a makes me think of a local shop we use to have here just outside of Detroit called Joe's hobby shop. My Dad use to take me there back in the late 70's early 80's when I was a kid and they had these giant slot car tracks set up all over the back room of the shop. Can't remember what scale they were, but they were the biggest slot cars I had ever seen in my life. I always liked going there.

Re: Indoor Vintage racing, so cool!
When I was ten or eleven my brother flew rc planes and he had diesel engines in some of them , I remember him putting them in a vice in the garage and tuning his engines , it got pretty stinky in there I'll tell you ! That must have been thirty nine or forty years ago !

If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.
