My RC10T Restoration

Post by FasterLouder »

I picked up two RC10T Team Trucks last year and used all of the best parts from them.
Did the hydrogen peroxide treatment on the white plastics.
One truck came with a new, unpainted body :P
This is the first body I've airbrushed.
No mods, just period correct electronics.
I really want to drive it, I should have kept the second truck for a runner...Been wanting to run one since my RC10T2 got stolen through a trade.
I sent him my truck and he disappeared. :(
But this thing is cool.
Does anyone know where I can get the decals to complete it?
Thanks!

Truck looks great!

I just finished up restoring a few of them myself. You can get reproduction decals from MCI Racing.

Thanks Mark!

I'm looking for the decal that goes on top of the cowl hood, MCI don't have them, last I checked.
I do 99% of my restos box art, so it's bugging me a bit. :?

A very nice guy I bought some parts off gave me a mint KO FET servo, which is in the truck, connected with a tiny bullet connector to the ESC.
It was the last of his RC parts.
I said if he ever wanted to get back into the hobby, I'd put a vintage car of some kind together for him for free.
He said it was the nicest thing anyone had ever said to him!
That felt really good. :)

I love the RC community, so many nice people.
