Its been a long time coming but I can finaly see what may be the light at the end of the tunnel. I didnt realise how expensive new old stock for the rc10 could be till now. With a big thanks to RETRO R/C for these sexy rims and Mr Lexan for some other parts I am looking forward to getting this car up and running-
man this is one sweet @$$ ride .i love the rims .i believe they are see's or are they T&A machining? either way its a beutiful car bro.are you gonna paint it or at least put some decals on it? put a nice original rc10 stock motor in it with the blue label.maybe some nice blue alloy bell cranks.some nice blue wheel nuts. and more blue hardware would be sweet.
The wheels are T&A rims.....look nice on this ride.
Cheers
Darryn

Thanks DM. I have the sway bars and I was ging to slip the front under the top plate as you are suggesting. :D As for the rear camber link-yeah I swapped the pick up point on the RH side to fit a bigger spur and forget to do the same with the other...
It seems like around 12 months ago I bought this car my good friend Paul (Treehugger) here on 10TALK.
While Paul did a good job of supplying me with a good start, the real work laid ahead of me. The car was stripped down and thoroughly cleaned with...

Nice car Bormac, I really like the paint scheme. Its neat that you and Bugle still race the oldies and they are still winning races. Even though it tok you a long time ot get it built I bet it was sure worth the wait!!! Have fun with it :D
Without having to read back through every post I was hoping those in the know could assist me on this long time project.
I have had a new built car for many years which I purchased from a fellow member here but also picked up a well used (and a...

I use 3% too. You can find 6% at the chemist I believe, and from memory it's the same price as the 3%, so I just dilute 50/50 to make 3% as it goes further. If you use too strong of a solution it goes chalky and powdery. Many use UV light but the...
It's been a very long time since I owned a Javelin caged car and I was about due for another.
Yep, I picked this jem up off eBay and while it looks a little dusty the extra picks the seller sent me show this car to be in quite good condition....

Is Pargu still selling his wings?
BTW, what would be the best way to brighten up the cage? Both of Mine are a bit dull.
Keith
I think Pargu does still have the wings available. As far as brightening the cage, try some PlastX plastic...
As previously mentioned I am heading to Melbourne for a 2 hour vintage enduro meeting and I can't go without taking my Cougar2 Works buggy for a back up rig. Yeah I know it's not a pre 90 but I have good word that the car would be accepted should...

I'd love to have one of those. I think I found a clear body for that buggy. Just have to double check my source. All that would be left is finding a car to put it on.
