MK1 Red Motor Plate Losi XXT

I came across (what I'm assuming) is a MK1 motor plate in red. Does anybody know if they made them in red? Or have any other info on it?

It should have come from Racers Edge. They offered the Losi units in both red and purple colors, that I am aware of.

Thanks for the info Lavigna. This quarantine has got me busing out my old XXT and rebuilding it. You and Jammin have inspired me to do a complete rebuild on it as a runner and build a shelf queen XXT CR G+. You have some top notch builds BTW... I'd like to get a purple one if anyone has any leads...

I had heard that this could be a Trinity purple motor plate for the XXT. I emailed Trinity and they confirmed it was. Pretty exciting as I have never seen one.

Does any know the history of the different Losi or JRX2 (JRXT) silver motor plates? What I mean is, I have what appears to be one of each motor plate with a different stamping on the back side. One is blank, one has the JRX-2 logo, and one says Team...

I just came across some vintage parts, and among them is a losi motor plate for the jrx-2 series. it is anodized purple.

Ok i have only ran this truck twice and on the second run the wires de-soldered from the motor. Any idea what could cause this, The motor was also smoking a little.

Specs:

Duratrax 8T Racing Reversible ESC
Novak 2S lipo cutoff
Turnigy 4000 mAh 2s...
