B4 cvd/hub help with MIP trans

Post by HotRodJosh »

Hello all...tryimg to add B4 hubs and CVDs to an RC10 Graphite project. This car will be a car to actually race, hence updating the rear to run B6 wheels, which I have plenty.
Now while I have searched for required parts to do this...it doesn't quite work when using an MIP trans...as the dogbones "bottom out" in the drive cups. And using a shorter inner MIP "bone" for an RC10 is too short.
So....is there an rear a-arm that is a tad wider than stock RC10? We're talking maybe 3-4 mm wider is all. I think what I have would work with a 6 gear trans...as the cups are deeper...but really wanna use the SP-1....and hate to buy more parts
Anyone run this setup?
Thanks!

I think I used B4.1 rear hubs and ended up using a Yokomo bone paired with the AE axles.

Also check NIXCONCEPTS as Niki has a bunch of modified gear for the RC10.
I was old school - when old school wasn't cool !
