Spares box build for the Brett Davies GP
The start of a parts box build!
So how this build came about!
Me and a friend who I race 10th with wanted to do a big meeting over the winter while he is back in the UK (lives in Australia)
So found out about the Brett Davis GP (big uk vintage race meeting on carpet organised by Dudley/iconic rc)
So we decided to enter the meeting and guess what I booked him into the wrong class for 2wd, he has a B3 and I entered him into the 89-93 class, whoops!
He doesn’t have a car for the 89-93 class so I’m building this out of my spares box for him to race!

Re: Spares box build for the Brett Davies GP
looking sharp in white and black like that
Gear boxes are all over but just have to look harder than this time last year. You can always put a wanted thread up if you haven't already in the b/s/t area or if you are part of facebook groups there are tons of flippers out there ready to sell a stealth or 6 gear.
Personally, and I get no kickback for this but an A&L lethal weapon would look ace in there

Thanks Todd, yes I’ve joined a few of the Facebook for sale pages and the chop shop
Hopefully I’ll get something sorted soon for it, the postage to the Uk makes it quite pricey to get a box from the USA

Sean Miller's RC10 chop shop is what I was thinkin and I think I've seen a post from a guy in the UK...you?
He usually has a few stealths. Just gotta ask. Anyway, if they have an issue shipping international let me know, I can relay it for you if necessary

Re: Spares box build for the Brett Davies GP
Well been busy sourcing parts, got some longer turnbuckles for the front end, most of a gearbox from A main and a diff used from Shawn Miller on the rc10 chop shop Facebook page
Added B44 rear driveshafts and dug our an old shell for it
Just need to get the gearbox together ASAP and get some testing completed as the race is the 12th Jan (pics etc will be on iconic rc Facebook page)
