I verified with Fastner Express that they were the supplier of the blue aluminum screws for team associated. Unfortunately they were not the supplier of the gold ones. Still digging to figure out where they got em
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Re: AE 8-32 aluminium screws. Then and now
Perhaps fastner express has supplied AE with blue 8-32 screws. The blue factory team screws I had where exactly the same as the green re re screws that came with the worlds car, just in blue. These are terrible quality the heads will sheer off on jumps.
On the other hand the fastner express screw are top quality and do not sheer.
As far as the color of the original screws, I always thought they where simply zinc chromate coated , common on aviation hardware.

Same here. I always thought they came from the aviation industry which uses zinc chromate coated aluminum fasteners extensively.bluewormx wrote: ↑Tue Nov 14, 2017 5:35 pm Perhaps fastner express has supplied AE with blue 8-32 screws.
