Re: B4/T4 diff in a T2/GT trans case
Ehh..... nevermind. Doing a little research I found that while the b4/t4 still used 3/8 x 5/8 outdrive bearings, the 4.1 and 4.2 switched to 10 x 16 mm outdrive bearings. What I was looking to use is based on the 4.1 and later diff.

Re: B4/T4 diff in a T2/GT trans case
I would have thought the 4.1 and 4.2 would have had the same diff as the previous T4 models. I don't have my manuals handy at the moment but have you checked part numbers on the gear case etc?

The B4/T4 used a T2/GT diff and 9574 trans case
The .1 and .2 used the 9852 outdrives and 9826 gear diff trans case.

Re: B4/T4 diff in a T2/GT trans case
Hmm, I had to get out of bed to look
What a stupid idea, every bearing in the kit is imperial while the diff bearings are metric.
Just to confuse things the RTR T4.1 uses the standard GT diff while the FT T4.1 an T4.2 use the 10x16 bearing diff.
