I need a replacement servo saver

Post by tbfoto »

Well I screwed up and broke the servo saver in my RC10 gold pan buggy. Are these still avaible? My manual says it's part number #6255. If not...then what will work?

Does anyone have a photo of something else that they have used?

Best upgrade is the MIP ballraced steering kit.

Thanks for the link.

Wow $15.00 for a servo saver kit. I can see now that this rebuild is gonna get expensive real quick. Is there any that are not ball bearing?

If you want the cheap option just keep watch on ebay, there's always someone breaking an RC10 for spares. I suspect the servo saver parts will go up in price now that Tower has run out of stock of them.

I think I have one NIP. It's molded in black though. You can also use the steering setup off of a Dual Sport. It drops right in and It updates it to the B2/B3 style servo saver.

Also the servo saver was available as a kit with linkage and hardware; 6250, also discontinued, but a handy number to know about.
