VINTAGE TRX-1 PROJECT
I have another vintage Traxxas TRX-1 project in the making. I have accumulated a majority of the parts for the build however I still need a bunch in order to complete the project. Looking for the help of my r/c piers to get this completed. I have an added posted in the wanted area with list of part numbers. In the meantime I've decided to go ahead and start the build without the remaining parts. I will be posting progress pics as I go so please check back in.

Re: VINTAGE TRX-1 PROJECT
I started this project last night and was able to get some of it together. Bummed that I don't have a front arm mount yet. That holds up the whole front end assembly. I was able to secure battery cups from scr8p. Thanks!

Not at the moment. I think I'm going to keep original as possible. Hard enough finding stock parts as it is!

Re: VINTAGE TRX-1 PROJECT
Put the shock together with the exception of the springs. The anodizing is a little darker on the rears than on the front which i don't love but what are you gonna do. Does anyone know if a substitute spring can be used say from a jrx-2?? Found a couple more parts for the build and am awaiting their arrival. PLEASE, check out my wanted add to see what remains to see if you can help
Thnx

Some updates. Still looking for a front arm/body mount which I can't seem to locate anywhere.

Re: VINTAGE TRX-1 PROJECT
I seen the front bulkhead in a traxxas lot on ebay a couple hours ago. Was pricey but there was a ton of old traxxas in there that would work for what you are into. I'll have to see if I can find it again...

Re: VINTAGE TRX-1 PROJECT
Looking good Todd. Those white 2731's.......last new pair I saw was at the LHS back before the turn of the century.. Front arms and wheels though...nice. And that bumper. I was looking for a NOS bumper for over a year. Paid top dollar when I finally found it. OK then.
