Well I bit the bullet and picked up a nice clean C stamp gold tub.
Price was right plus the buggy looks to be in good condition its no beauty queen has a few rashes on the nose. Planning on turning into a runner so not really concerned about the rashes. Still have ideas running through my head as which way to go electronics wise.
Should be a another fun build.

NICE! I'm working a deal on a clean B-stamp...
I REALLY want to get a gold pan and make it competitive. Setup and such is one thing...
But I'm afraid the loose nut behind the wheel might be a limiting factor!

Yep just something about the RC10 that keeps me coming back... lol I too am a nut behind the wheel, I used to race touring cars a few years ago, and wow some of the crashes I've been in lol. I tell you the hobby shop loved me when I walked through the door, all they saw was a big dollar sign walking in looking for parts hahaha.

Hi kineqp,
I like the blue one, is that a factory blue anodized chassis?
Cheers, DaveM.

Yeah it is factory blue, candy blue Team car. I do like the color too, pretty neat looking color very bright.

Hi kineqp,
When you compare the color against when it displays on the monitor is it close?
The only reason I ask is I have a blue anodized motor plate but it is a bit darker.
I wonder if it is factory?
Cheers, DaveM.

Blue motor plate? Nice... Yeah I'm not sure the motor plate on mine is black.

Hi kineqp,
I was planning to chuck it out, one thread is a little loose, I thought I might be able to use a punch
from the back to tighten the hole up.
Comparing your Blue RC10 on my computer screen, the motor plate is at least a couple of shades
darker.
Cheers, DaveM.
