This can't work, right?

Post by tomolupus »

I have an old Carlsson 1:12 which needed a bit of a cleanup.Image
When I had removed the battery pack I noticed something odd.
Four out of the cells were soldered on both sides, and from what I know on electricity this just can't work well.

When looking in the manual I can't see what ever there is to missunderstand.

Error must have occurred when trying to establish 4,8V for the receiver

Well the builder must have given up before even trying it because there's never been any radio gear fitted in the car.
