RC10T steering set up

Post by MrPuke »

Hey guys, just dug my old RC10T out from storage after 20ish years. This was my first real RC car that I raced for several years, then both my nephews raced it after me. We just recently decided to give racing another go, and I figured it would be fun to dust the old RC10 off and maybe do a little restoration on it. I was looking at the steering set up on it, I don't remember putting this on the truck but I must have. It is a MIP ball bearing set up, but I don't see any kind of servo saver built into it at all like the stock set up. I would assume I better be running some kind of servo saver on the servo itself with this set up?

Yes, you will want a servo saver on the servo itself

Thanks, I will put a servo saver on the servo. I plan on putting a brushless set up in it and maybe race it once in a while on the local dirt track. I am thinking just going with a 17.5 or maybe a 13.5 in it.
