A&L Leathal Weapons for RC10 using Stealth diff is ready

Post by Daryl Lane »

Ok you pushed into doing this - you know who you are...... 8)

First off Stealth Diff is not included - so you must supply your own Associated Stealth diff assembly to put into the Lethal Weapon RC10 Tranny. Everything else is the same original Lethal Weapon parts.

I will soon have a page done for the A&L web site more info in the B?S?T section. Daryl

Is motor plate included or does it use stealth motor plate?

if this product will continue to be sold, maybe put you in the business section. maybe some pictures of the new transmission assembled and possibly installed on a car would be nice too.

So forgive my ignorance but what is this exactly? I looked on the site and didn't see any pics. From what I gathered for the other Lethal Weapon trannies, its a belt driven tranny? What are the pros / cons of such a setup?

Pro is people get to buy brand new Lethal Weapon transmissions for the RC10 again. Con is buyers have another project to come up with ideas and parts for. ;)

This is essentially what this kit is: http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=25231

For awhile now Daryl has been sold out of the LW outdrives for the RC10 and we could only get trans for the Ultima and Tamiya cars. He's now put together a few LW kits that have all the parts without the outdrives but with the little spacer needed to use RC10 stealth outdrive the way LTO_Dave did.

Have done done the page yet for the stealth diff - basically I ran out of A&L RC10 LW diff halves a long time ago. Some members have been saying how much they would like one for an RC10. So I had some work and figured out how to adapt a stealth diff to work in the LW which is mostly metric in design inside.

Back in the mid 90's the LW added run time to most motor battery configurations which was a big deal especially in stock.
