Light gold pan, A stamped on top and bottom

Post by szac »

Stuff identified in the "25 years" thread as an early Edinger:
  • Milled towers
  • Less material on spindles
  • A stamped on bottom (but also on top)
  • Bell crank same on both sides
Things that aren't identified as early in the "25 years" thread
  • Hex's on ball cups
  • No rear shock spring cups capturing the spring
  • Tires
  • Front wheels
  • Body posts
Looking forward to rebuilding and getting this one running with my kids. I never had an RC10 back in the day but my cousin did and MAN did I envy it. I've been trying to snag one on CL for about a year and a half only getting lucky last week with an RC10T2 and now this week with this. Two separate guys, but both traded for BL systems. When it rains it pours!

What are those side mounted wings? Some kind of oval downforce kit?

Yep, the boys and I got it sort of apart. I've got a parts list going and it's looking like it's going to be something between period and modern racer. You got pics of yours posted?
