Yeah they are a super cool buggy, never really looked into older Traxxas cars but scrolled by this on Ebay and couldn't pass it up. Hopefully soon I have an rc18 and a kyosho to keep it company!

Just got this off ebay from a guy in the next town to where I live - he kindly delivered it for me to work. The seller had apparently been given it by someone at his work, but as he was mainly into R/C helicopters he didn't use it.... his lack of...

Which Futaba receiver are you looking for, I have a huge bag of them...

Pretty sure there's some R102's and R112's which are era correct. 75Mhz, instead of surface use only these are probably shelf use only . :wink:

I just dug up my RC10 #6011 from my parent's house. I haven't found a battery that fits the transverse battery cup holders. Does anyone have suggestions on what to use in these models?

I also need a new battery slant holder and door for the futaba...

If you remove the plastic end caps, just be sure to cover the battery ends so that they don't short out against the chassis. :wink:

I have a nib #6011 champ car . Instead of all white parts , they came in black . Does anyone know why associated did that.

That sucks. I HATE black parts. Makes them look toyish ! I got lucky with my NIB Champ. Its an early one with 6 gear and white parts.

I've been reading tons of threads how to modernize 1/4 > 3/16 to fit newer wheels, and decided to start modifying my gold pan.

I've been storing it about 16 years and finally took it on table to see what can i do for it. When i got it ~1996...
